Pair of low basket-shaped bergères in the Louis XV style in carved and gilded wood resting on four small slightly curved legs decorated with cartouches and ending with volutes. Circular belt decorated with flowers and foliage. Arm brackets at the base of the foot decorated with large acanthus leaves. Solid armrests finished with acanthus leaves. Basket-shaped backrest, divided into three parts by molded scrolled uprights decorated with leaves, scrolls and a central motif of flowers and foliage.
Red silk upholstery by Rubelli, reference BARBARIGO, color CORALLO, with foliage patterns, decorated with a braid of similar color. Rubelli is a historic Venetian fabric production group, whose workshops are in the old Zanchi factory of the nineteenth century, in Cucciago, Italy. This house produces fabrics of very high quality, also used for great works as for the theaters of La Scala or La Fenice.
