    Description

    Pair of carved and gilded wood consoles representing terms of putti belted with flowers. The sheath of the terms is in fBois de console and the back is decorated with a large acanthus leaf.
    The whole rests on a square section wooden base covered with marbled paper which spreads a cameo of ochres. Marbled paper, obtained in a vat, is a material inherited from master bookbinders and traditionally used by craftsmen in the art of books.
    Half-moon wood top in Sienna yellow marble.
    Work of the end of the XIXth century, restored in our workshops
