Appeared in the seventeenth century, the Auvergne jewel called saint-esprit knows its golden age in the nineteenth century. It is a gold pendant set with precious stones which represents a dove with outstretched wings descending towards the earth and has at its end three drop-shaped pendants. The Holy Spirit is worn with a gold chain or a velvet link. It can also be mounted on a gold slavery necklace, another jewel traditionally offered by the future husband to his bride
