Frank Myers Boggs (1855-1926) was a student of Jean Léon Gérôme.
Painter and engraver of American origin, He regularly exhibited until the end of his life at the Salon of French Artists, and silver medal on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1889. His watercolors represent the majority of his work. He is illustrated in his representations of Paris, its monuments, the Seine and its bridges..as well as in the evocation of the various French or foreign ports, with often turbulent skies.
Naturalized French on November 14, 1923, Frank Boggs is buried in Paris at Père Lachaise, near his son Franck Will
