Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy & Cie, abbreviated "J.T.L.", was a French musical instrument manufacturing company, founded in the mid-19th century.
It was based in Mirecourt, France, was active producing a large number of stringed instruments until the middle of the 20th century.
The name was adopted around 1867 after Louis Émile Jérôme Thibouville, partner of the instrument manufacturer Husson-Buthod-Thibouville, married Marguerite Hyacinthe Lamy, a cousin of his business partners. Upon becoming the owner of the company, he renamed the company using their combined names: Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy.
Thibouville was descended from a line of manufacturers of wooden and brass instruments dating back to the 16th century. However, he was above all an entrepreneur who was eager to develop a stringed instrument business, and was not himself a luthier or bow maker. The company grew rapidly, and at its peak, it reached annual production rates of more than 150,000 instruments by more than 1,000 luthiers.
In 1896, Alfred ACOULON joined the firm to take charge of the production of the instruments. In 1908, Hugues-Emile Blondelet, a luthier from Mirecourt joined as co-director. Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy closed its doors in 1969
