Louis XV style flat desk opening to three drawers in front and three false drawers in the back resting on four slightly curved feet.
Marquetry decoration of violet wood with a frieze of wood thread with a square background and open frame, enhanced with lighter fillets of scalloped form.
Ornamentation of chased and gilded bronze at the entrances of lock, lingotière, falls of angles and sabots, with motives of style Louis XV such as cartridges, shells and foliage.
The top is slightly curved and made of brown leather with gilded irons, with a patina of age.
Some visible marks on the marquetry on the back of the desk, structure in good condition.
Work done at the end of the 19th century, circa 1880
