Beveled glass and gilded bronze cage pendulum with lion's muffs
The enameled dial is inscribed in a beveled glass cage with gilded bronze uprights, the hands are finely chiseled and the hours are inscribed in Roman numerals, the half-hours in Arabic numerals. The dial bears a signature trace of the watchmaker in Paris. A gilded bronze arabesque decoration and a laurel wreath frame it. Two lion muffs wearing a ring are fixed on the sides, The cage is topped by a covered vase resting on four crowbars. Acanthus friezes and raised base.
The original gilding is superb, the balance ends with a radiant sun. The movement is in perfect working order, ringing at the o'clock and half-o'clock.
The plate bears a hollow stamp: "horlogerie de Paris".
