Large chandelier with silver bronze structure composed of 24 lights distributed over two rows.
Model with a coronation with 6 bronze branches in the form of leafy scrolls decorated with garlands of crystal tassels with a pattern of icicles and faceted octagons.
Central barrel consisting of a bronze rod with cut crystal threading with numerous bulges. It ends in a silvery bronze ball decorated with chiseled motifs representing acanthus leaves, buds, a frieze of rosettes on a partly guilloche background.
Two rows of 12 lights each hang respectively on the central pillar of the chandelier and then on the silver bronze ball. The arms of light are in the form of a volute surmounted by godron-shaped crystal coils on which are hung tassels of ice cubes and faceted octagons. Garlands of faceted octagons connect the arms to each other as well as the arms to the central structure.
Damping of the chandelier in the form of a corolla of inverted crystal flower suspended at the end of a small garland of tassels.
Work carried out at the time of Napoleon III (1808-1873).
Silvering in very good condition.
