Origin: probably China and France. Pair of bottle-shaped lamps in cloisonné enamel with black background mounted in chased and gilded bronze with a quadripod base with openwork and chased decoration of scrolls and cartouches and a molded top. The body of the lamp with swollen body and narrowed neck in cloisonné enamel with black background on which stand out geometrical gilded partitions as well as foliage flowers such as chrysanthemum, hibiscus and bindweed filled with polychrome enamel. The body is also decorated with a median frieze, above the bulging part, with a blue background and motifs of Asian signs, foliage and small clouds. A high frieze of white ruyi clouds, common on Chinese porcelain, decorates the top of the neck. Work done around 1880 ! The price indicated does not include the price of the lampshade.
