Lucien Génin was first a student at the School of Fine Arts in Rouen, then in 1919 Lucien Génin was admitted to the School of Decorative Arts in Paris. Lucien Génin received a very complete training, but developed a personal technique all in spontaneity with an innocent glance on the simple things of the life.
