DUPONCHEL 1849
Un des plus importants orfèvres à Paris au dix-neuvième siècle. Connu comme Henri Duponchel, Morel et Cie, Duponchel & Morel, et Duponchel & Cie, son propre poinçon était insculpé en 1849. Il a travaillé avec plusieurs orfèvres différents, dont Louis Manant, Charles Glachant ( qui a travaillé pour Frédéric Boucheron), Jean Bonnet et Constant Revil.
Duponchel a exposé à l'Exposition Nationale de l'industrie à Paris en 1849. Il était en premier rang d'orfèvres, avec Froment Meurice, Rudolphi, Odiot et Lebrun. A l'exposition internationale de 1855 à Paris, Duponchel a remporté une médaille d'honneur.
