    Description

    A Carrara white marble, black marble and chiseled gilt bronze clock. An eagle with its wings spread is situated above the dial. The clock is decorated by flower vases, flowers and laurel leaves guarlands, scrolls and pearls. The dial signed "Rouviere A Paris", watchmaker listed in "Dictionnaire des Horlogers Français" de Tardy, p. 577. Wire mouvement. Similar model in "L'Encyclopédie de La Pendule Française" de Pierre Kjellberg, p.198.
